First catching our attention with a talk show on MTV, she now has a new fashion reality show called 24 Hour Catwalk out this year. Along with appearing on countless magazine covers and acting as muse to several designers, she is also the face of Vero Moda’s 2012 spring campaign. In this new fashion video, Alexa models a selection of adorable Vero Moda ensembles, giving us lots of inspiration for our 2012 wardrobes!

Free People’s new January fashion video is a homage to New York and LA. Showcasing individual style on opposite coasts, the video features top models Jessica Hart and Karlie Kloss. Watch the models celebrate two iconic cities that couldn’t be more different!

Peter Pan collars are probably the cutest part of our childhood. The rounded collar adds a touch of whimsy and youth to any dress. Maybe that’s why we seem to love wearing them so much right now! The trick to this trend is to not look too youthful. To keep it from looking too sweet, wear it as a short dress or pair it with edgy accessories. For the daytime, they are perfect with flats and a ponytail.

I recently posted here about the adorable BB Dakota Clarissa Jacquard Dress. I was thrilled to see that earlier this week the Obama family posted thier latest portrait on Facebook, and Sasha Obama (far right) is wearing the dress! This gorgeous silver and purple frock is so cheerful and ladylike, with the pleated accenting at the waist. All kinds of awesome.

Black may be the standard look for the season, but I always love switching it up. This season, white seems right. White has blown up on the red carpet and beyond, with a slew of style-savvy celebs wearing the shade recently. Of course the first thing that comes to mind when wearing white is a wedding dress, but we’re not talking about an elaborate ball gown. Dressing yourself in head-to-toe white can include a delicate white short dress, white jewelry, white pumps, or even a flow-y white boho skirt. It’s that time of the year again.

This past weekend I attended my first ever office Christmas party, and it was definitely a new and interesting experience. Never one to give up the opportunity to wear a dress, I went all out with a sleeveless dress with a voluminous, pleated skirt and sparkly gold heels. Despite the fact that it was my first event of this kind, it turns out that I made the right fashion decision.

The key to these kind of events is to dress up and have fun, but still be appropriate. You’re still amongst the same people you will be seeing again on Monday morning.
