July 17, 2010 - Stand Out In Pale Denim
Posted by: Erin │ category: blank, jeans, jeggings, lipsy, trends │ comments: No Comments »

Pale coloured jeans are still on my radar right now. I love ‘em tight but still stretchy and comfortable. These jeans look great with an oversize button down shirt and some sexy strappy sandals. Even in the fall I love wearing mine tucked into a pair of ankle boots with a plaid shirt.

July 10, 2010 - Your Perfect Pair of Jeans
Posted by: Erin │ category: jeans, rock & republic │ comments: No Comments »

It seems that we’re always searching for that perfect pair of jeans. The ones with the perfect fit; tight, but not too tight with our ideal wash. With Rock & Republic (seen above) you will definitely be one step closer to finding yours. This famous denim brand is known for quality – making jeans perfect for your body. I have probably worn my pair more often than anything else in my wardrobe. They fit me like a second skin and work with everything. And if you’re worried about the price tag, Agent 99 has all Rock & Republic now 50% off! It doesn’t get much better than that!!

July 4, 2010 - Summer Pastels
Posted by: Erin │ category: inspiration, only, spring │ comments: No Comments »

The sun is shining, and summer is too short to let all these pretty colours pass us by. Gone are the days of dreary shades, now is the time to spice up my wardrobe with a cheerful colour palette. The shades of light pink, crisp blue, and soft beiges put me in the perfect summertime mood. I love light coloured peach-pink tops with a pair of shorts and simple necklace. It’s a great way to beat the heat.

June 28, 2010 - Black and White Looks
Posted by: Erin │ category: bb dakota, trends │ comments: No Comments »

Monochrome black & white fashion is one of the simplest but also most stylish looks to try right now. It’s great for a fairly effortless travel wardrobe in the summer, and it can look great with a bright necklace or hair piece. Obviously it’s too hot to wear a lot of black right now, so a white lace top like this from BB Dakota is cute with just a little black top showing underneath.

This fashion look is smart, crisp, and fun as you can come up with new ways of working such simple pieces with more daring accessories. A simple white dress, also from BB Dakota is perfect for a day at the beach. Or try a pair of sleek black pants for an evening out.

June 24, 2010 - Tough Girl Chic

Add a bit of edge to your style with a few tough girl pieces. They require quite a bit of courage, but it’s fun to take your style to the darker side. To test out this look, try studs (on the shoulders, collar, or even jewelry); lots of black, silver and gold; tough, strappy sandals; and/or skinny jeans or jeggings. If you’re not ready to go all out, mix the soft and the hard to create a look that mixes these two elements.

June 19, 2010 - Lovely Lace ♥

Lace is a big trend this summer and heading into the fall season. I love lace dresses and tops, like these from Kopa and BB Dakota. If you’re not ready to go all out, try a dress with lace detailing and minimal accessories. For a more casual look, this feminine texture looks great paired with skinny jeans. I especially love the crisp white hues for summer – it keeps the outfit light and fresh.

June 14, 2010 - Denim Shorts Trend
Posted by: Erin │ category: blank, shorts, trends │ comments: No Comments »

It’s time to show off your legs with a pair of denim shorts! This is such a huge streetstyle trend with lots of celebs wearing a pair of cut-off, ripped up denim shorts. Some pairs are DIY distressed style while others perfectly hemmed. Wear them with a cute tank top and a pair of flat sandals for a guaranteed chic summertime outfit.

June 11, 2010 - Ruffles and More Ruffles
Posted by: Erin │ category: kopa, lipsy, trends │ comments: No Comments »

Ruffles are back, and they are bigger and better than ever before. Oversize ruffles add a touch of drama to any outfit. Whether they be on tops, skirts, or dresses, ruffles are bold, bright and fun. Like in these images from Lipsy & Kopa.

The classic 1950s silhouette is back! Now the updated version of the full skirt includes a wide array of options. Some dresses look ultra feminine and whimsical, with lots of movement in the fabric. Others are more fun, flirty and colourful. All look super cute and accentuate your waistline. What will you choose?

It’s hard to believe that the World Cup is now only days away. The worldwide obsession with the beautiful game has spilled over into other beautiful things too – namely fashion. We’re seeing lots of sporty styles this summer such as shorts, cropped track pants, and of course lots and lots of tank tops. Channel your inner footballers wife with a pair of heels or go for downtown cool in runners instead.
