Posted by: Erin │ category: domino jeans, fall 2010, trends │ comments: No Comments »

Everybody is loving the skinny military cargo this fall. It immediately stands out and blends in with whatever you wear it with. The neutral hues are super wearable with anything in your closet. At Agent we are loving versions from Domino Jeans at reasonable prices. Domino is a great line out of Montreal that is really popular at Agent this year for it’s flawless style and effortless cool. It perfectly fits into our lifestyle.

Alexa Chung tries out the trend, a look from Only’s fall collection

The denim shirt is another trend that is carrying over from spring into fall, but now it’s only getting even more popular. As seen on fashionable celebs such as Alexa Chung (who has single handedly contributed to its coolness), the denim shirt is the perfect wardrobe staple for any laidback cool look this fall. How will you wear yours?

August 16, 2010 - Glam Bodysuits from Motel UK
Posted by: Erin │ category: fall 2010, motel, trends │ comments: No Comments »

At first, bodysuits might remind you of your childhood ballet lessons, but today designers are creating chic bodysuits for the here & now. Not to be confused with a figure skating costume, these bodysuits from Motel UK are right on trend. But wearing the bodysuit doesn’t mean you have to dress like Lady Gaga. Bodysuits can look glamourous when paired with the right articles of clothing. I like wearing mine with an elegant skirt or even a nice pair of jeans as seen on the models above. They instantly add chic to any fall wardrobe.

August 12, 2010 - Trend Alert: Fall Florals
Posted by: Erin │ category: fall 2010, prints, trends │ comments: No Comments »

This summer, one of the hottest trends was floral prints: on dresses, skirts, tops, and sometimes even on leggings. This trend was very popular at Agent, and the look continues forward this fall! Lately we’ve been seeing a lot of androgynous silhouettes, but girls still need to be girls! Florals are a great way to help soften boyish looks that we’ve taken on of late. Not to be confused with your grandmother’s closet, these floral patterns are fun and modern! Here are a few great examples from Motel and BB Dakota.

August 8, 2010 - New UK Line Coming to Agent This Fall!
Posted by: Erin │ category: fall 2010, motel │ comments: No Comments »

Motel is a new hot line out of the UK that Agent 99 will be carrying this fall. The brand is known for its eclectic mix of punk, retro, and fun filled style! Its form fitting, quirky dresses have caught the attention of many celebrities including Little Boots and Pixie Lott. As well, the brand appeared in an episode of British hipster show Skins where the girls buy their formal dresses. For girls who want to stand out in a crowd and express their inner wild child, Motel is the new British cool. Here are a few of their hottest looks for fall:

Motel uses amazing prints that are always bright and unique!

But don’t underestimate the power of a super sexy black mini dress!
Love the detailing around the neck!

Florals are still going strong for fall! I love this girly strapless dress.

August 3, 2010 - Cool and Casual Blazers
Posted by: Erin │ category: bb dakota, blazers │ comments: No Comments »

Whoever said blazers had to be stiff, uncomfortable, and boring obviously hasn’t seen these latest fashion offerings from BB Dakota. These blazers look cute and casual with rolled up sleeves and a softer grey colour. Try wearing them with leggings or even shorts while its still warm out. Not just another day at the office!

July 30, 2010 - Wear It Now and Into Fall!
Posted by: Erin │ category: fall 2010, only, spring │ comments: No Comments »

Right now I’m always looking for things that I can wear now, but also continue into fall. A great buy is the classic t-shirt dress. Now it can be worn over a swimsuit to the beach. With a floppy hat and a pair of sandals, it’s perfect for summer! In the fall I can wear it with tights and ankle boots, and maybe throw a cropped jacket on as well. So many outfit possibilities!! Here are a few chic examples from Only!

July 24, 2010 - Animal Instinct
Posted by: Erin │ category: mink pink, prints, trends │ comments: No Comments »

Animal print seems to be a staple that continues to be in style. It’s a trend that still doesn’t seem to be going away anytime soon. Access your own animal instinct with a cute animal print top or cardigan like these by Mink Pink. I also love wearing just a touch of animal print on a scarf or bag – tres cool!

July 18, 2010 - Shades of Grey
Posted by: Erin │ category: inspiration, kopa, trends │ comments: No Comments »

Bland? Boring? Not even close. One of fall’s “it” colours (but still appropriate for summer), grey can be beautiful in its simplicity. Brighten it up with bold jewelry, or just wear it as is. I love the idea of showing off the girl as opposed to the dress. Sometimes you don’t need anything more than that.
